Movies

an avid movie lover with a soft spot for romcoms, especially the iconic 2000s gems that defined the genre. whether it’s a lighthearted love story or a heartwarming adventure, i’m all in for the charm of a good romcom. don’t be fooled-im a true cinephile at heart and appreciate every genre. from drama to thriller, sci-fi to action, i believe a great film transcends genre and should be enjoyed for its storytelling and characters. for me, if it’s a well-crafted movie, i’ll watch it, no matter the label! 

Television

television isn’t really my go-to, but i’ll watch it if i’m bored or mindlessly scrolling on my phone. i don’t seek out TV shows, but if something catches my eye or i need background noise, i’m all for it. it’s more of a casual,’if i have nothing else to do’ kinda thing. i tend to prefer other hobbies, but hey, a good show can still pull me in when the mood strikes.

Books

i’ve always had a love for reading, and for a while, romance novels were my go-to escape. however, in the past couple of months, my reading journey has shifted, and i’ve developed a deep appreciation for classic literature. currently immersed in ‘The Picture of Dorian Gray’, i find myself drawn to the rich, thought-provoking works of authors like Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy. there’s something about the timelessness of these classics that challenges my perspectives and opens up new ways of thinking. it’s been an exciting shift, and i’m eager to explore more of what this literary world has to offer.
