toffee !!

About me:

howdy hey! my name's toffee :) i recently made this spacehey profile because, for a long time, i've been looking for a place to have my own website and blog. i found carrds and strawpages to be too limited and isolated, while learning code for neocities was too complex. however, i've found that spacehey is the perfect sweet spot. customizable but not a complete blank canvas; far from the algorithms and advertisements of social media, but not a solitary void where no one will ever find me.

as i previously stated, neocities was a struggle due to my extremely limited knowledge on HTML and CSS; i was completely lost and left staring at a blank website. (i genuinely think that using italics in AO3 comments is the most HTML i've ever used.) since i really only want to use this for yapping, i don't plan on making my profile that complex. however, i'm still going to try and learn bits and pieces as i go, and maybe this won't end up looking half-bad.

i'm going to use this for my daily music blog, where i talk about one song every day. this is a sequel/revamp of my previous daily music blog, which started in february 2025 and lasted only a few months, all contained on a janky strawpage. i'm going to focus my energy on making my daily entries, and then i'll use my extra time to make this profile look good ^_^
