Movies

My childhood favorite movie was the Tinkerbell movies. The Secret of the Wings was the one I liked the most, I think it's cause I have this weird attraction to ice as an element? Only further proven by my love for the Frozen movies. The second one is far better. A girl I became briefly acquainted with asked about my favorite princess (it is actually Meredith) but my second option would be Elsa. Unlike a lot of sequels I actually think the Frozen sequel was really good. I had a phase where I was obsessed with Norway and Norwegian folklore, prior to watching Frozen. Or, at least, unrelated to it. I rewatched the movies when I was like 13 and it suddenly hit me harder than when I watched it like 6 years before that. I saw the second movie in the cinema and... I kid you not "Lost in the Woods" made me tear up because Jonathon Groff (Kristoff) has the most amazing voice.

It isn't a perfect movie and since it IS a Disney movie it has some very corny scenes. I hated that random charades scene in the second movie. Strange. Also the whole hype to make Elsa have a girlfriend? I am the last person you will see complaining about LGBT+ rep but Frozen isn't about romance!!!!! Her sick ice powers and beautiful Sami heritage are enough! God... and I hate the Disney princess makeup. I am annoyed with the style too of course, unrealistic proportions and all but, that is not the takeaway here! I used to hike a lot with my mom and some of her friends or family and while we went down the paths in the cold Spring air, I would silently pray that I would unlock my ice powers. Focusing on my palms and trying to activate them. I think my cousin made fun of me for it one time. I also think I was 9. Oh and I adore the musical!!! It is god so so so incredible. Oh my God. Ciara Renée is MY ELSA! I am in love with her. Seriously. I think I had a worse obsession with Tinkerbell, only because I begged my mom to sew me together a dress just like Tink's and then she helped me make socks with the left over fabric and afterwards I went out into our driveway and rolled around on this dolly and pretended that it was one of the wagons the Tinkers use. I had a hyperactive imagination I was creating entire movies behind our tan 2003 Lincoln Navigator. All by myself.

My current favorite movies tend to be war movies. Although, I have plenty to go through, 1917 is beautiful. When I first watched it I felt like my soul was leaving my body. I watched it on my little iphone screen. It's not the ideal way to watch a movie, especially one so well shot, but what can you do?

But oh... January 2026, I watched all 3 LOTR movies in theaters over the course of a week. They were doing a showing and my friend dragged me along. I was really reluctant about it because I was in depressed mood at the time. I am so glad I went. And even more glad I watched them in theaters. I really loved the Harry Potter movies and the books but that joy has been flaking for a while thanks to a certain bigoted old hag. And the LOTR was just what I needed to heal me and make fantasy good again. I am a samfro shipper and I think Legolas is so painfully handsome. Like oh wow I feel bashful just thinking about him. He is so... pretty. I usually hate elves. If I was but a humble human in their world I would beg him to let me follow him around like a dog and tend to his needs. Okay.

Television

Lots of shows I like. There is two I watched when I was younger that totally shaped me forever and they are "Young and Hungry" (2014) and "Once Upon a Time" (2011). Y&H actually was my blueprint of like... girlhood or something. It was so good I rewatched all five seasons while waiting for the sixth one. It never came. Left on a cliffhanger too. Ugh. I adored that show. I don't know if I would still like it, but I definitely did in 2017.

I liked sitcoms in middle school. I managed to finish: Parks and Recreation, New Girl, Friends, The Office, and Fuller House before I started High school. That's in order of favorite to least favorite. Parks and Rec is so goods... The office sucked. Even Friends was better. Only good characters were Michael and Kim. And Michaels gf.
I watched all of Steven Universe over one Summer. I cried... I laughed and I feel embarrassed about liking it now because of its reputations. I made Gem ocs and everything. Adventure Time crushed me. TMNT (2013)? So special to me. The 2018 show is nice too, people hate on it too much. The MAYHEM MOVIE> WAS INCREDIBLE. I love them aaahhdhfa. Hey Jesse was my Disney staple... I watched the entirety of it on cable, on a princess tv. Do yk the ones? I'm just run through all my childhood shows: Shake It Up, Doc McStuffins, My Little Pony (FIM), Wild Kratts, Octonauts, SpongeBob (SquarePants...), Sonic Boom, Pokémon Indigo and XYZ, Naruto, Yokai Watch, Mermaid Melody, and probably a lot more.

Right now I really like South Park, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Peacemaker, Succession, Hannibal, and uh other stuff I can't remember.

Anime

Not counting Hetalia. That show is a plague on my psyche. I love the Chainsaw Man, Golden Kamuy, and My Hero Academia mangas!!! MHA is the only one I have actually watched the anime for. There is also Naruto, as I've mentioned (it was my second anime but first I really cared for), Assassination Classroom, Saiki K, Mob Psycho,

Games

...Genshin impact, cookie run kingdom, deltarune, fnaf, clinical trial game, amongus. I genuinely still love among us. Roblox. Webfishing, uhhh Persona 3 and 4. Animal crossing, fortnite, WORDLE and Worldle.

Books

Make Lemonade by Virginia Euwer Wolff (this book made me cry and touched this wound I have about mini deaths in which a person disappears from your life and it makes you feel like you've died. Like you are the only one still thinking about the friendship.) Crime and Punishment. This book is not a hard read!! Contrary to popular belief. The translators preface discouraged me but after the first chapter it is really funny. I connect with how soft hearted Raskolnikov is. Minus the ...stuff. However, I have not yet finished the book partially out of procrastination and partially because every time I try to read it something really bad happens to me. I am not joking. I once got hit with the worst flu of my life, I was puking everywhere and crying and shaking in bed. Then the second time I got sent to the psych ward like a few days afterwards. Not because of the book but it is a weird coincidence. I am on part... 4 currently. I am scared to pick it up again. Do not read that book if you are in a bad place is maybe the lesson learned here.

There is another book called "Absolute Brightness" and it is ingrained into my memory, I read it when I was 12? It was kind of morbid but overall it turned into a weird sort of sermon-y message and despite being called an lgbtq novel... it really wasn't. Like at all. It has no cohesive plot. The character Leo is a whiteboy but I kept imagining him with brown skin because of Leo Valdez from Percy Jackson. ANOTHER INCREDIBLE BOOK!!!!

Celebrity Crush

Mike Patton, Javier Bardem, Elijah Wood, Sean Austin, and Jennifer Morrison.

Choffi's Blurbs

About me:

Istg i'm bisexual bro ToT. one second i'm mad and the next i'm happy asf...
Hi, Choffi is my pseudonym. I was born on 2007 in Baja California, Mexico, but I live in the United States which means I like, guns, freedom, and tamales. Not serious on the guns part. They're cool looking but I don't support the third amendment. It is outdated.

This blog is purely personal so there is no particular theme going. The majority of entries are incoherent rants or me talking about articles I read. I want to do reviews of things too like maybe fanfictions I've read or movies or songs. As for interests, I really like history, (I talk about that a bit), classic literature, screenplays, most art related things honestly, but especially creative writing. Then there are "Less sophisticated" interests... creepypasta, scps, backrooms, Dare Devil comics (the current show is good too I like Charlie Cox he has a sweet face), anime- not to be pretentious but I prefer manga usually, fanfiction, and mmd music videos. Music videos in general entertain me. This doesn't feel like an interest exactly but I love Youtube more than any other platform. Not counting pirating sites. Teehee.

My pinned blog post is, I guess, my sneak peak to what my more personal blog entries look like? All the rest of my more personal-ish stuff I have marked as friends only because I am shy and I get a bit crude. I am baiting you to add me. I will add back usually all the time. Check the meet section. Final note here though, please read the pinned because if it weirds you out then maybe don't add me cause my blog is a safe haven for gross stuff like that. In the least corny way I have a mental disorder and it is evident in the things I write!! I am trying to be unapologetic about it, so just be nice.

Music:

Insert awesome music commentary. If I had to narrow it down, right now, Modest Mouse, Elliot Smith, MCR, and Tomahawk are my favorite musicians/bands.

Who I'd like to meet:

I only use Spacehey on my laptop , so if you want to dm we're going to have to be like pen pals... await my message, be patient with me.
17+ and I will not friend you back if you don't at least interact w me in some way or have no blog posts. I am not going add to your huge friend count bruh.

I am active on my twt too but that place is a dark decrepit cesspit of perverted thoughts and art. And it is purely about fictional characters. Mostly Hetalia. Go figure.
