About me:

I love that this website recreates MySpace from the 2000s! It's been great to relive a more slower and personal time of social media. It's funny, I started to add all of the layout and blinkies to my profile, and my brain went back all the way to adjusting the code to how I wanted the page to be. Also, yes, I actually still listen to my iPod. I'm also on Dreamwidth (hooray, a new version of LiveJournal), let me know if you would like to add me!

I highly doubt that there is going to be a resurgence of MySpace amongst millennials (but I can certainly dream). It's a shame, since it's nice to just check your page every so often as opposed to being constantly connected like the rest of modern social media (not to mention the algorithms, misinformation, etc).

I'm open to adding others who were actually on MySpace during the 2000s. As such, anyone who was not around (as well as minors), please do not interact with me. If you send me a friend request and I can't see your age, then I will send a message to confirm. However, if I am unable to message you, I will delete the friend request.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'll list historical figures here. I have a lot of questions to ask them!

Princess Diana

Christine Jorgensen

Kurt Cobain

Hi, thanks for accepting! :) I see you like Sailor Moon manga, did you watch anime, too? I'm reading manga now, 6 vol. is next in the line!

Hi! I watched episodes here and there as a kid, as well as some of the movies (the DIC dub on Toonsmi). I’m watching it in order now and I’m on season 1! I’m on volume 2 of the manga, and also reading Sailor V! How’re you liking it so far?

I've always loved it. I remember having Sailor Moon toys as a kid, I used to go everywhere with them. Manga is really cool, only vol. 4 was a bit slow, but vol. 5 picked up the pace :)

Thank you for the add, fellow MySpacer from bygones past! I love your taste in movies and TV. Azumanga Daioh is a real throwback, and I've been meaning to watch Swiss Army Man. The concept sounded so outlandish that I need to see it. I also dig that you still use your iPod because I crave the return of the MP3 player era.

Oh my goodness, thank you so much! I adore Azumanga Daioh, I still have the original DVDs and manga volumes! Swiss Army Man is certainly a treat (I love to analyze it from a trans lens), and the acting is just phenomenal. I do think that it has one of the great movie introductions of all time (and all of the songs are sung by the cast members). I love using the iPod in the present day, I know that there are other MP3 players still out there, but I love the clickwheel. Plus, the old iPod games are so fun, especially Vortex!

Ahh I have the manga but I never owned the DVDs! I do love the anime adaptation. I'm really looking forward to checking out Swiss Army Man now. Maybe I can try to watch it this weekend after I FINALLY get around to KPop Demon Hunters haha. I never got to experience the iPod clicky wheel since all mine were nanos. :c But I have some other brand of mini MP3 player that I take along with me. No internet? No problemo.(´∀`)b

Let me know how it is! I still have to watch the full movie for KPop Demon Hunters, but my friends showed me all of the songs (as well as the cat). I loved what I saw! I never got to experience the iPod with a clickwheel (I used my friend's iPod Nano 2nd generation here and there), I mostly used a Sansa MP3 player and eventually an iPod Touch 2nd gen, but it's so nice to be able to go back to the old clickwheel and make new memories! I do adore the disconnect from the internet, it's just a whole new layer of peace!

I will definitely let you know how the movie is! Also omg I HAD A SANSA TOO. I completely forgot what it was called. It's so satisfying freeing to not be tethered to the net.
