General

In general, I love art. My favorite art is cartoon and anime or other visual character art. I really like character design and comics, and enjoy reading manga and manhwa comics often. I'm currently working on my own comic and have assisted in drawing multiple other traditional comics and digital webtoons. I like super heroes and action books as well as romance novels. I also like reflective books. One of my other interests, aside from the arts, is political activism. I work with my state's coalition against domestic violence as a graphic designer and am in college to study fine arts atm!! both are very important to me.

Music

My favorite band of all time would probably be Bloodshot Dawn, but I love artists like Ayesha Erotica, Tyler the Creator, Doechii, and Crazy Nut. I like big sounds and big hyper noises in my ears, it gases me up.

Movies

I'm not sure, I don't sit through too many movies and can't remember many things on the spot. The last movie I saw was Mufasa, and it was very cute and funny :)

Television

I loved Adventure Time growing up, and seeing the new installments of content for the show was amazing!! Bee and Puppycat is also another show that's definitely up there for me, the OG and the new Netflix version are both great imo and I love the humor in it.

Books

What My Bones Know is a great book by Stephanie Foo that reflects on the intersectionality of trauma and being Asian. Blood Meridian is also an amazing historical fiction book taking place in the Americas, it included Indigenous characters and Cowboys, both of which I always find to be visually appealing in terms of clothing.

Heroes

Stephanie Foo, the Author of What My Bones Know. It's very hard to write about trauma, especially your own. Her book feels like she's speaking for every Asian kid who has had to go through the American school and social systems while going through abusive home relationships.
