Hey hey, name's lalli, I'm a design engineer student, in search of a more thoughtful and meaningful way of spending my online time.

Having grown up in the early 2000s, I'm not completely familiar with the old internet, but I vividly remember the time spent curating my rudimentary Windows Live Space blog and the hours spent on various video game and anime-themed hosted forums.

In an era where social media, and the corporations that control them, make staying online unsustainable and unbearable, partly due to the sense of constant availability we seem to owe others, I started growing bored of currernt common social media platforms.

However, I do love sharing and the sense of community that old social medias had. That's how I stumbled upon spacehey and I said to myself, why not? this, and my blog on neocities, are my attempt at a kind of slow living applied to the digital world.
