General	Art, cinema, music, literature, creepy and paranormal things, secrets, flowers, architecture, crafts, anthropology, history, foreign languages, cooking.
Music	I love rock, grunge, metal, dark wave, Visual kei, extra-cheesy J-pop, K-pop, and most things in between and beyond
Movies	My favorites on Letterbox: Licorice Pizza (2021), The Big Lebowski (1998), Kamikaze Girls (2004), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014). Add half of Studio Ghibli classics, pretty much anything coming out of South Korea, and the Twilight Saga (vampires).
Television	I'm a big fan of documentaries (mostly on social issues and true crime) and cooking shows, with some K-dramas sprinkled here and there.
Books	Lately, I've been reading mostly essays on anthropology, art history, and cultural studies. I wish I could return to fiction though.
Heroes	I have many but my favorites are my mom, Karl Marx, 90% of queer people and Reina Tanaka of Morning Musume (currently looking for a reason behind my admiration for people with bangs and pigtails (I have neither))

My current passion project to survive the end of the world is using said degree to give my interpretation of Malice Mizer's lyrics translations. I also hope to share some art and maybe movie recommendations. Make yourself at home ♡

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet compassionate, fun, and artsy people, maybe who share my hobbies. These include: writing, drawing, painting, woodblock printing, watching movies, reading, listening to music, embroidering, making jewelry, and cooking (each of these periodically picked up and forgotten again).

Musicwise, my favorites are The Cure, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, older psychedelic rock, Blur, and Nirvana. I also have a (fairly) proud past with the Jonas Brothers, One Direction, and various K-pop groups like Exo, Shinee, and Red Velvet (I stay an SM supremacist). I'm also a lifelong fan of Morning Musume and Hello Project J-pop groups and I've just recently discovered Visual kei (other than Malice Mizer, I especially like BUCK-TICK, but recommendations are more than welcome)

Things I'd like to do: travel more (China is on top of the list), learn more languages (starting with more Japanese, and Korean past the writing system), publish a book, learn how to play an instrument.
