General

i love working out and studying. in general i love being by myself the most. i have a pretty small circle of friends that are dear to me. with them i love going on brunches, coffee dates and drinks. i also love reading, watching movies and series, listening to music and journaling. i would say that i'm pretty creative so i always like to try new things in that aspect. pinterest is my baby.

Music

i listen to everything pretty much. i can't really stand cajke (girlies from croatia will know) and metal/hard rock. spotify is my sacred place and i find comfort in my playlists that are pretty different from one another. i've had a connection with lana's music ever since i was 4. besides lana, my favorite artists are blood orange and frank ocean. since i'm learning french and love oldies, brigitte bardot, francoise hardy and serge gainsbourg are dear to me. i think that i will never get over the bonnie and clyde music video. speaking of oldies, elvis, the velvet underground, billie holiday, frank and nancy sinatra as well as etta james are very loved by me. i love jazz and classical music too. my favorite composers is tchaikovsky. i love operas as well, my favorite one is bizet's carmen. i had a major kpop phase in 2021. and even though i'm not a stan anymore i still love the music and many artists. stan loona. i would like to believe that my soul sounds like champagne coast by blood orange.

Movies

because of my cool older sisters, i'm activley watching movies since i was 5 or 6. i love horror and action, as well as thrillers. however, my favorite genre would probably be romantic comady. letterboxd is an angelic place. i hate when people ask what's your favorite song or movie. why do you think that i know?!?! but, my top four are damien chazelle's whiplash, alfred hitchcock's rebecca, dean deblois' how to train your dragon 2 and jung ji-woo's tune i for love. i love old hollywood a lot. i love musicals and animated movies. my favorite disney movies are soul, brother bear, mulan and the fox and the hound. my favorite barbie movie is the nutcracker. a movie that i watched recently is the princess bride and i fell in love with it and it became one of my favorites.

Television

i love, love, love series. i started watching series "full time" when i got my laptop, which was when i was 11 (six years ago). i started of with the vampire diaries because i would watch some episodes with my sister when she was the age i am now. at that time i was 5 or 6. i personally think people limit themselves when they only watch american or british shows, which is the case in croatia. i am blessed to have a mom, who i looked up to since forever, who doesn't have prejudice. because of my kpop phase, i started watching kdramas and i till do. i love anime as well even though i didn't watch one in a long time. i think that the long animes like naruto and stuff like that is ridiculous as well as those pornographic and predatory ones. i recently discovered serializd, which is letterboxd for television. my top five are baby (2018.), the walking dead (2010.), the day of the jackal (2024.), the worst of evil (2023.) and peaky blinders (2013.).

Books

as i looked up to my mom my whole life, she was always caught with a book in her hand when i was a kid. she would also buy me many of them. my favorite books were animal encyclopidias. before i started reading young adult books (the first genre i started with), an honorable mention goes to my dear episode (i still play it). when i was 12, before summer vacation i went to the library to borrow a book that i will read through it. that's when i got hush, hush by becca fitzpatrick and demon glass by rachel hawkins. i think that every girl who likes to read has a book or two, that she read at 12 or 13, and that is probably pretty bad to someone older but that she always comes back to and could never hate. that's how i feelwith those two. especially, hush, hush. i come back to it each year as it gets colder. my favorites are the secret history and animal farm. currently, i'm reading the virgin suicides.
