I don't read alot :( but I do write alot :3, I'm working on something pretty cool rn but until then here's a poem I wrote: the scent in her hair, the summer breeze sweetly air, before I never would care, this city girl from palermo, I always thought love was a theory, something just not for me, cuz out in the country, you can't choose who you marry, I guess it's a choice but not one you'll ever have, I'm thinking what did she mean when she just brushed on my hand so cold, it fluttered my heart so warm. Its just what they described, "when I would look in his eyes", I always thought they was lies, and I just guessed that I liked no one, every one that I tried was so wrong, she said do you believe beauty and sweetness, I tried to speak, but she could hear my heart beating, she leaned in and whispered, I know why your speechless, the world thinks we're crazy but there's something between us, I wish that shed leaned in, and kissed on the cheek first, but she pulled away thinking, that I'd tell her secret it's like she was hiding while sitting beside me, theres people around, so I told her where to find me, and I was so nervous, a wreck but exited, a warmth in my heart and eversince it's resided, I walked to the old tree, the first time she told me, ive got a better spot, we climed the rocks to the cold beach, there was a sweet singing band and in the distance they played, it's just her eyes and her smile cuz not a word did she say, and she just grabbed on my hand, and as the song fades away, it's just the sounds of the waves, sand on our feet as we sway, I just wanted to cry when the tides coming in, the sky is dark cuz today it has to come to an end, and through a teary eyed smile, without a hint of pretend, she said can't wait til tomorrow, so we can do it again.
