General

i love 20th century history. i think this period of revolution is so incredibly fascinating and learning about it in my degree, as well as writing about it brings me a type of joy that is impossible to describe unless you have experienced it. i also love love love makeup even though i'm not great at it. i suppose that's what life is about, you aren't always great at doing stuff but you do it anyway because it makes you feel pretty, smart or whatever other positive emotion!!! food is also something i love, specifically baking for my loved ones as i feel like that's the ultimate gift. it's so personal and connects people on a whole different level than anything else.

my favourite movies are mixed, they are so different but really reveal things about me.

Television

i would love to be into tv shows, but for some reason my brain can't ever focus on watching them till the end. if i was to break this down tho, it would be community!

Books

my favourite books are set in the past, ones about historical events or alternate histories. a niche example would be atonement. this is a play but i read it as a book, death of a salesman by arthur miller!!! both amazing reads or watches if you prefer movies :)

Heroes

to be cliche, my mum. she is imperfect, just like anyone else in this world. but she is everything to me, i feel like she does not get appreciated as much as she should be. historically, marie curie. this is such a common answer i feel, but as a polish girl and someone who is the first in her family to go to university, i resonate with her on a level i think only i understand.
