I love Ed too, he comes as off so try hard too. Whereas Colton is just fully about his vanity and his house shows it. So what I did was have Colton be the super ritzy house in the back and Ed has the area that's like a more humble, less wealthy looking front house.

I try to build on the little storyline by having colton's gifted furniture being the expensive instruments and real art while Ed has the cheaper instruments and fake art. Colton has the inground pool with lights and Ed has the blowup ducky pool xD

I went for a natural forested/ minor development island.
Lots of tiki torches, stone and wood furniture placements, and rock formations.
Log bridges only and natural ramps only.
Tons of flowers in meticulously random order. All my Trees are fruit trees meticulously spaced to that the colors and fruit themselves aren't group together visually.
VERY dense.
So densely packed that snowballs dont form on my island.
Ideally my island is best in a permanent fall season.
One day soon I'll post a bunch of pics on my profile.
I did a ton of terraforming as well.

The only "fully developed" area is a iron fenced off upper corner where Colton and Ed live because they are both just so boujee. They have money trees, stone pathways, a private beach, inground pools etc. =)
