About me:
Hello stranger...
I'm a high-energy physicist driven by the mysteries that lie at the heart of our universe. My work focuses on fundamental particles, especially neutrinos—those nearly invisible, ghost-like particles that pass effortlessly through matter, revealing hints about the universe's earliest moments and inner workings. Despite their abundance, neutrinos are profoundly elusive, interacting so weakly with other particles that they travel through entire planets without leaving a trace. This is precisely what makes them fascinating: while billions of neutrinos from the Sun and distant cosmic events pass through each square inch of Earth every second, their subtle nature requires intricate and sensitive experiments to study.
My research explores the unique properties of neutrinos, such as their tiny but non-zero mass, their tendency to oscillate between types (or "flavors") as they travel, and their role in both particle physics and cosmology. Neutrinos have the potential to answer some of the universe’s most puzzling questions: Why is there more matter than antimatter? How do stars explode in supernovae, seeding space with elements essential for life? Through experiments at particle accelerators, detectors placed deep underground, and collaborations with researchers around the world, I’m committed to pushing the boundaries of what we know about these particles.
Beyond my work in the lab, I’m passionate about making complex scientific concepts accessible and inspiring others to see the universe in a new light. I believe that understanding the smallest particles can spark a sense of wonder and provide a deeper connection to the cosmos. Through my journey in high-energy physics, I hope to contribute not just to our scientific knowledge, but also to our appreciation of the profound beauty that science can reveal about our universe.
