omg u like the heat? :O sorry ur suffering though! hope ur roommate left for some reason, so you can mess with the thermostat. >:) also, i have a question: how does spacehey feel to you, compared to myspace? i remember the days myspace was around, but only vaguely. i was too little to use the site. so, i guess i waited years for this one to pop up. xD *shrug*

Well to tell you the truth I'd say SpaceHey is pretty similar in terms of experience. It's full of teenagers, weird creepy people, and fun customized profiles. However, you have to understand that Myspace was THE social media to be on during the old internet and there wasn't anything that really split the online social media base until Facebook and Twitter came around and everyone migrated over in 2008. So it was BUSY and I mean BUSY. The one thing SpaceHey really lacks is the amount of active users and engagement from person to person. It's a shame that this site is so dead. The front page says 1m users, but it's mostly inactive accounts. I think SpaceHey is a pretty good replica of what Myspace was like but just at a very small scale. I still think it beats an experience alternative to mainstream social media where the focus is on competitive engagement with how many likes or follows you can get.

hi, sorry i'm replying late. i'm shit at multi-tasking. was thinking of a response a few hours ago, but got caught up in other things. anyways, thank you very much for giving your two cents! i do agree that this website is flooded ten-fold with teenagers... it discourages me from using the site often. i've been on spacehey before. but left every time, partially due to that. hm, i do remember social media websites really taking off then. it's a damned shame how myspace killed itself, and also facebook/twitter whatever else nowadays, dominating the internet. i did notice how few users there actually is on here... not nearly enough adults too. i'm betting ur right about inactive accs. i agree with you though; being here is way better than what overwhelming, flashy, seizure-inducing social media has to offer. haha again thx for speaking ur mind! :D

Thanks :) It seems really cool here. I just have to dust off my HTML skills and get a cool profile design. I'll probably do what we did back in the day and 'borrow' someone's code off their page and then edit to be my own image inputs lmao
