Lady Jehanne of mudvil's Interests
General |
In my days of yore, there were few opportunities for leisure or personal interests. Life was a constant struggle to survive, and every waking moment was dedicated to work and survival. However, in my spare time, I enjoyed tending to my garden on the windowsill, crafting simple items such as sewing or spinning, and singing old ballads with friends around the fire. I must say, I had a fondness for the simple things in life - the smell of fresh bread in the oven, the sight of a healthy crop in the fields, and the sound of laughter and music in the village square. I also loved to dance - particularly when the music was loud and the ale flowed freely! |
Music |
In my more younger days, I would sing and played the harp or lute - slow, heartfelt ballads and jaunty tunes to lift the spirits. I particularly enjoyed the old songs about love, honor, and chivalry, and the lively tunes that accompanied our dances during festivals.

Lady Jehanne of mudvil's Blurbs
About me:
Good day dear reader,
(My husband is currently writing this passage for me Since I am but a mindless woman. Thou shall not be Wery.)
I do hold a fondness for the simple joys of life in my small village - the smell of freshly baked bread, the warmth of a hearty stew after a long day of toil in the fields, and the company of good-hearted folk who share stories and laughter ‘round the fire. I also relish the thrill of the satisfaction of a successful hunt from my husband, and the beauty of a well-tended garden, bursting with the fruits and flowers of my labor.
During the day, I am but a humble peasant woman who toil from dawn to dusk, working the fields, tending to animals, or perhaps spinning wool or weaving cloth. My days are filled with hard work. But, In the evenings, I gather with me family and fellows of the village to share simple meals and stories around the fire.
There is much to do in the village - the harvest must be brought in, animals cared for, tools repaired. But amidst the toil, there are moments of joy and celebration - the mid-summer festival with its music, dancing, and feasting, and the annual church fair, where we come together to buy, sell, and share gossip.
Thank you for reading dear reader.
Who I'd like to meet:
there are many fascinating individuals I would have liked to meet.
First, there is the legendary Robin Hood, the rebel hero who fought against the cruel reign of Prince John and his minions. His feats of archery and cunning have been sung about in countless ballads, and I would have relished the chance to meet him and hear his stories firsthand.
There is also William the Conqueror, the Duke of Normandy who conquered England in 1066. His triumph at the Battle of Hastings forever changed the course of history, and I would have coveted the chance to see him in person.
