General	2004: Guitar, alcohol, hockey, bikes 2024: Science, law, medicine, all things retro (I guess that's a relative term isn't it?), still hockey, still guitar, kind of forgot about bikes over the years.
Music	2004: Metallica, Pantera, Slipknot, Slayer, Killswitch Engage, Dimmu Borgir, All That Remains, Shadows Fall, Megadeth 2024: 80's Metallica (Hardwired is okay too), Fleetwood Mac, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire, Journey, The Moody Blues, Bob Marley, Ambrosia, still like Pantera, still like Megadeth, still like Slayer, Ceelo Green, Hall and Oates, The Cars, got into classical more over the years too: Vivaldi and Beethoven in particular.

I'm a scientist studying the intersection of heart disease and blood cancer mutations. Wait. I won't have my PhD until probably May or so, am I supposed to call myself a scientist yet? I can never tell.

Given that I feel like this is 2004 from looking at this site's MySpace layout, I feel like I should be writing something about heavy metal, Metallica, alcohol, and guitars. I still play guitar! I do not still drink, however.

Something, something, Metal Up Your Ass, something, Whiskey, something, Pantera. Yeah. That sounds about right. Oh, Slayer too. Can't forget about them.
