Aside from Retro Games, I'm involved in the cyber security/privacy field. Here I will post a few references to better privacy alternatives that compare with the big tech data-collecting/harvesting companies. While these options may not be the BEST option in terms of what is actually the best privacy programs, but they are the most private options while still being user-friendly and as close to the big tech (normal) options as possible, you know, for the average person...

Browser Plug-In's I recommend (I use Firefox but you may be able to find these on the browser of your choice):

uBlock Origin (while known as an ad-blocker, its also the best simple option to block trackers, those little bits that track you around the internet and what you are doing). (This is limited on chromium browsers but still works) (not available on Safari, but you could try AdGuard Lite).

Firefox Multi-Account Containers (I absolutely love this one!)

Google Container (prevents the website from seeing your activities outside of their site)

Amazon Container (prevents the website from seeing your activities outside of their site)

Facebook Container (prevents the website from seeing your activities outside of their site)
