General	I make chopped up lo-fi beats because it’s fun as hell to take a sample, shred it into pieces, and glue it back together until it sounds like something Dilla would smirk at. That’s my happy place. I want an AKAI MPC XL so bad it’s stupid. That’s the final form. That’s when I ascend. I’m also weirdly obsessed with old Cadillacs. The giant ones that look like you stole your grandpa’s car but it somehow makes you cooler. I love that whole vibe. And yeah, I like metal visuals too. Skulls, spikes, dirty textures, loud colors. It makes zero sense paired with lo-fi beats but I don’t care. It looks sick. When I’m not messing with music, I watch campy movies. Like the goofy ones where everything looks fake and nobody acts like a real human being. I love that stuff. It gets my brain going. Makes me want to create dumb weird art for no reason. And yeah, I smoke a little weed while I’m watching because it makes everything ten times funnier. I’m just doing whatever feels cool and making it sound good later.

About me:

Hey. I’m TNOWL. I’m 21 and from Massachusetts, and I’m pretty much fueled by 2000s nostalgia at this point. Old video games, Adult Swim at 2AM, weird commercials, the whole vibe. That’s my comfort zone. I make music in my room. Sometimes it’s experimental, sometimes it’s loud, sometimes it’s calm, sometimes it’s just me messing around until something feels right. A lot of it comes from growing up on PS2, skate videos, and all the random stuff that stuck in my head. When I’m not making beats, I’m usually at a hockey rink or watching the Bruins and yelling at the TV. Halloween is my favorite time of year. I always go way too hard for it. Something about spooky decorations and creepy sounds gets my brain firing. My room looks like a time capsule. iPod Video on the desk, posters everywhere, consoles plugged in, and me in the middle of it trying to make something that feels like a half remembered dream from 2004.
