Originating from Thessaloniki, Greece and at only 14 with autism and ADHD, chopmyheadon is experimenting with new types of rap. Inspired by artists like Edward Skeletrix, Hella (band), and the band Death Grips, he has 3 albums out with varied types of sound. chopmyheadon also dabbles in digital modern/contemporary art, which he posts on his Twitter. Some notable art pieces include: “Quest for the Fountain of Apologies”, “Needles”, “Visualization of Futile Efforts, and many more. His first album, titled “WOLVES” was more in the style of artists like Yeat, or Ken Carson. chopmyheadon states, “I’m gonna be for real, WOLVES was total ass. I hated working on it, the amount of iterations it went through, it was so much work.” chopmyheadon has dabbled in multiple art mediums, like game design, and animation. His next album, titled “pER0X1D3//*”, fully embraces chopmyheadon’s experimental side (especially with songs like “ARES BOOK I: FECTIVEN” and “THE HUMANS ARE DEAD (SCHIZOPHRENIA)”. When asked about the meaning of ARES book one and two, chopmyheadon states, “To be honest, they don’t really mean anything. I’m pretty sure I looked up a fake word generator and clicked the first result on Google. I chose the most not word sounding words if that makes sense?” chopmyheadon’s first ambient album, adequately named “Ambient Drone Works”, is chop’s take on ambient droning music to zone out to, especially with songs like “as you etch on the inner window of your eyelid”, and “untitled 206.3”. When asked about it, he stated: “Honestly, Ambient Drone Works was made as a joke. I made the entire thing on Beepbox, which is a shitty little DAW. Like FL Studio, but worse.” chopmyheadon has recently uploaded a second entry to ADW. His latest album, Strangers To Us (stylized as “strangers2us”) delves into deep topics about chopmyheadon’s life, including his father, uncle issues, depression, and self-reflection.
