Vidya game. Tekken, Like a Dragon, Shenmue, Metal Gear, Half-Life, Final Fantasy, the list goes on! A handful of particular favourites are 428: Shibuya Scramble (literally the best visual novel ever please read it right now), Metal Gear Solid 2, Yakuza 6: The Song of Life, Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin, Final Fantasy XIII, Tekken 8, Katamari Damacy, Dead Rising, Sleeping Dogs, Spec Ops: The Line, so on and so forth!

Music

City pop. So much city pop. Any city pop, in fact. My favourite artists are Toshiki Kadomatsu (the absolute KING), Tatsuro Yamashita, Yoshino Fujimal Yellow Magic Orchestra (more so synthpop but absolutely fantastic), Toshitaro, Miho Nakayama and Jadoes. On the other side of the pond, I like bands and artists such as Jamiroquai, Steely Dan, The Doobie Brothers, MF DOOM, Bloodhound Gang, Sunset Rollercoaster, and Bobby Brown. Quite a selection there, but you'll generally find me head first in some 80s or 90 stuff!

Movies

Anything and everything South Korean. Favourites include "I Saw The Devil", "Miracle in Cell Number 7" and "The Chaser." John Woo stays the KING of action flicks and I will not budge on this stance. My favourite film of all time is "Hana-bi" by Takeshi Kitano, which needs few words. Literally, there's not much dialogue in the film. Every shot, beat and piece of music from that film is just the complete and utter definition of perfection.
