I'm a Teacher's Blurbs

About me:

I'm an aspiring elementary school teacher. Currently in university working on my degree. Hopefully I can connect with others who have similar interests and maybe build an online community for educators with the nostalgia of MySpace! :-) Obviously, my profile picture isn't me, it's Coach Eric and Tammy Taylor from Friday Night Lights. This was my favourite series, and I absolutely love the portrayal of a marriage between the two of them and it's what I aspire to for my own marriage. Also, Tammy is an inspiration to me about what it looks like to never give up on any student, no matter how much of a challenge they may give you. To me, that's the most important part of being a teacher: having a tremendous amount of patience and love, showing you care and doing everything you can, to help every child. I love to read, write, watch movies. I also enjoy equestrian sports - dressage, mounted archery, show jumping, etc.
