object shows are a genre of a show that were created on January 1st (i think) by these two boys named Michael huang and Cary huang, whom i call the huang twins! they created this genre while they were in middle school! The show that made the whole entire genre exist was called BFDI or also known as battle for dream Island :3 it was a kid cartoon show on YouTube with drawings of objects with limbs and faces. They were competing in a competition show for prize. soon after, 455 days later or also two years later in 2010 another show was made by Adam Katz and his crew Justin Chapman Brian Koch and used to be Taylor Grodin but he got fired for rasicm. Adam katz and his crew made a show called Inanimate insanity (II). which was similar to BFD and inspired by it, but it had less contestants and worse animation style. Fun fact: the host of inanimate insanity (mephone4) was voiced by the voice actor of Chris McLean from total drama Island for the first episode. these two shows were the first two shows making the genre real. There were many object shows after that and there are many famous ones such as Hfjone (serious, teen-adult aimed audience), animatic battle (silly show with glourious animation) and EEE (stands for extraordinary excellent entitites.)

There were many spinoffs after BFDI but sometimes at the same contestant and competition style, but with different hosts and art styles.
