rn i’m on the fifth book in the throne of glass series, i’m enjoying it a lot. i’m a huge fantasy reader but don’t really get the appeal of booktok “spice”

speaking of which, my french teacher in freshman year recommended fourth wing to me. she’s a slower reader than i am so i got to the unsavory scenes first and have had to live with the fact that my french teacher and i have read those same words 😭

i still like the book! i think violet is a good protagonist and i love tarin’s grumpiness, it just…had sex in it 💀

Heroes

my uncle is my hero fs. he passed away about a year and a half ago. his appendix burst inside him about 3 years ago and made him really sick. he ended up getting both his legs amputated at the knee and was eventually on life support, but he stayed kind and resilient to the end. i hope he’s doing okay, wherever he may be
