my favourite movie is monsters inc LOL ¦
fav non-animated is parasite. an absolutely incredible film ¦
my recommendation for you is Ujala (1959). u can get it on youtube. its super. follows the adventures of a man looking for water who stumbles into a bonkers gated apartment complex. i don't even want to elaborate or spoil it. you wont see anything like it

Television |
my favourite tv show ever is fringe. a sci-fi by jj abrams following a mentally troubled scientist, his son, and an FBI agent as they witness increasingly bizarre and otherworldy events around them and the world. the characters are extremely lovable. it's quirky. the story to follow is really intriguing and thought-out. i love the details, i LOVE anna torv, and i love the actors involved. (special shoutouts to jasika nicole and kirk acevedo)

Books |
the books i have enjoyed or am enjoying:
heartbreak hotel by gabrielle burton. every single paragraph is it's own poem. and i mean it. gabrielle is just way above having a comprehensive writing style. it's a really uniquely written (and triggering) book about 7 different women living in a shared 'hotel' and their lives and personalities. honestly if you think you're ready, you're not. it's a really introspective and engaging read ¦ i really like janet evanovich's stephanie plum series. the villain-of-the-week structure from book to book really hums my autism. the characters and side characters are full of personality and its fun to see them engage. it makes for fun every single time. i think janet is really good ¦ to you i would recommend passing by nella larsen. it is a short book from the perspective of a black woman in 1920s harlem. she reconnects with a childhood friend to find her living a fruitful life undercover, "passing" as a white woman. id classify it a tragedy. the ending is provocative
