General	Bungo Stray Dogs Five Nights at Freddy’s Legend of Zelda (Majora’s Mask my fav!!) Princess Bride Persona 5 Danganronpa (V2) Edgar Allan Poe Identity V (now… did u think i was joking about the poe thing? he isnt just a gay ball of social anxiety. and he isnt just a redeemed villain either. poe has very obsessive behaviors and personality, and seems to be caught up on always being the best at what he does, because if he isnt good at something he loves, why bother even trying? he’s a social recluse, and isn’t the type of person to make lots of good friends, he only needs one solid person that he will love forever (platonically or romantically) that he will share everything with. his esteem also seems to be very fragile, notice how badly he crumbles when ranpo beats him. he has a decent amount of motivation, but there is always ONE thing that he will obsess over the most, so most of his motivation will go to that thing (that thing, in this case, being the mysteries he writes). he can also be reckless in a way, and despite his low self esteem will randomly become cocky and overconfident from the high of his motivations. going back to his obsessive behavior and the “redeemed villain” thing, he wasnt necessarily a villain in the first place, though I’m not necessarily saying he’s innocent either. according to the timeline he specifically joined the guild in order to travel to japan and confront ranpo yet again. he feels that outsmarting ranpo is the only way to help him out of the depressive state he was in after losing six years prior. his jealousy leads him to kill, as a man with no connections and a fixed mindset that this is the only thing that can make him feel better, it makes sense for him. luckily his plan fails, and ranpos remembrance of him twists that jealousy into some form of idolization. he continues his quest to outsmart ranpo, though it’s not completely friendly like people think. I think poe truly believes himself that they are still rivals, because he still views this “idolization” of ranpo as jealousy and frustration that he still hasn’t been able to beat ranpo.)
