i read a lot of books outside of manga ,, some of my favs r girl interrupted, the bell jar, lolita, and the yellow wall paper. my favorite mangas have 2 beee... kodomo no jikan,, soul eater, ichigo mashimaro, mitsudomoe, squid girl, yotsuba, he's my master,, chobits, and lucky star (just 2 name a few.....)
