I mostly do podcasts these days, but I do have a shortlist of bands I like. The Decemberists/ The Dear Hunter/ Motion City Soundtrack/ MF Doom/ Cab Calloway/ I Dont Know How But They Found Me/ Them Crooked Vultures/ Of Montreal/Fountains of Wayne/ Franz Ferdinand/Minus the Bear. There are others, honestly I usually only listen to daydream and I usually just glob on to a few songs here and there. Podcasts- Behind the Bastards/ You are Good/ Dungeons and Daddies/ Books Unbound/ New World Witchery/ Midnight Burger/ Hello from the Magic tavern/ Tooth and Claw/ and a ton of others I check up on intermittently.

Movies

Recently loved Nimona and the TMNT: Mutant Mayhem. It is a crime that Mutant Mayhem is not talked about more. I really regret missing that one in theaters. Man it was good!

Television

Im currently watching LOL Arcane and im really impressed. Beautiful animation, the posing is well thought out and clearly based on the fluidity of videogame character movements which is an excellent choice, The overall plot has been done before which doesn't detract at all because of how well the characters are fleshed out. Its a classic story told really well so far. I hope it sticks the landing. Shame about all the Imagine Dragons though. Who is that for? Did they produce or something? make it stop. Finished up Scott Pilgrim Takes Off. I like seeing Ramona and the evil exes perspective. Also I love a short show. I feel so accomplished. Also finished Scavengers Reign s1. The naturalism angle is masterfully explored. I just love me a weird little guy and this show is full of them. I plan on watching Severance but outside of that im focusing on animation this year. Its my favorite medium and there's so much I haven't kept up on or seen at all.

Books

Too many to list. House of Leaves was really influential for me and I have a tattoo from that one. I read Diane Wynn Jones Howls Moving Castle trilogy last year and its just wonderful. House of Many Ways was my favorite. Ive been exploring the horror genera the last few years. Im like halfway through Stephan Kings It and Im taking break. Its.. a lot. Its good, its just a lot. Im trying to work my way through all of the graphic novels and manga i've been collecting over the last few years. Its one of my reading goals for the year. On the docket I've got Blacksad, which I read about ten years ago and I want to revisit because there's a videogame now, My Brothers Husband vol1, and Cats of the Louvre, which is super French. Im also working my way through The Glassy Burning Floor of Hell, a short horror collection.
