Books	In the interest of not taking up too much space, I'll only list a few. Walter M. Miller's 'A Canticle For Leibowitz' is probably my favorite book, not so much because I'm particularly fond of science fiction though, in fact outside of some of Philip K. Dick's novels, I really haven't read a whole lot of the genre. Gilead by Marilyn Robinson was another really good one, probably one of the best epistolary novels ever written. I'm also interested in Japanese literature, Kobo Abe and Mishima are the two I've read the most of, currently I'm looking forward to reading Shusaku Endo as well. Naturalist writing is something I'm quite fond of as well, Thoreau, Abbey, and Leopold spring to mind as some of the better writers in that genre; also can't forget some of Emerson's essays, of course. Currently I'm reading some of Wendell Berry's essays (he's a conservationist writer for those unaware), I'm not sure what I'll read next though, there's certainly plenty to choose from.

About me:

I like books, I, uhh, like to read them as well. I also like cats. I personally don't have one but they're still cool. That's pretty much it. I'll also write blog posts about stuff I've read or interesting ideas I've come across, I can't promise they'll be any good but hopefully they'll at least be fun to read, and perhaps even a little informative.
