whoah's Interests

General

Buying terrible old electronics, restoring them and using them for my daily life (mostly because all of it was stuff i wanted sooo bad when i was like 6 and now they're cheap and all mine) Mostly consoles like the 360, original xbox and ps3, they're so cheap i cant help myself tbh, used to be obsessed with buying old androids and downloading custom roms on them but ive since moved to a blackberry because fuck the modern internet *ignore the iphone 6 in my pfp ive moved on from that clunker* Special interest used to be cars but its really hard to maintain a passion for something you dont own aha, youtube isnt enough to feed a hobby I guess :/

Music

Mostly generic dumb fun rock like ac/dc and kiss but im starting to relapse into the stuff i liked when I was 13 like slipknot, motley crue *their self titled album is #1 they should've stuck with john corabi*, smashing pumpkins and so on, I'll always have a soft spot for this kinda stuff even with the cringe memories welded to these albums. Also the occasional 2000's poppy radio hit slaps sometimes, music is cool. And the occasional eminem and 50 cent, im not cultured but idc, recovery and before i self destruct are my fav albums of both artists respectively

Movies

Monster House is the #1 movie, I'm not into generic technically "good" movies, they're bland and boring. Terrible movies have a whipped together in 3 days kinda vibe and are just generally fun to watch because im not expecting much from them, plus they can be had for like 50 cents each on dvd if you know where to look or free if you sail the high seas ;)

Television

Shows I watch and television I watch are things ill class as different so I'll split them up Shows I Like: Saiki K: one of my fav anime's, it manages to pass the *do you smash the tv when your parents walk in* test which is something an irritating amount of anime's cant do *im looking at YOU fire force grrrr* It has a pretty engaging plot and the characters have a lot of chemistry, it all flows together sort of its hard to describe, it just works™ and is something i can confidently throw on when i get home from school and not have to worry about boobie scenes or embarrassing serious plot. Like my fav music, its just dumb fun Brooklyn nine nine: a bit cheesy and the writing does start to show the age of its writers near the end with some kinda unnecessary grandiose stuff mixed in that doesnt really flow too well but you kinda have to creep up the excitement factor when you've gone on for over 7 seasons, unlike most boomer sitcoms this doesnt feel tired, old and meandering around with no true plot like seinfeld or two and a half men farting around doing nothing really, there's real conflict in this show and since the character development really fleshes out these guys it actually kinda hurts when one of them goes through a cringe social bungle or bad times fall upon them *I.e holt getting moved to pr and john kelly just being an overall nuisance* or when they succeed and shit just goes right, that good kind of development gives the plotline a lot of meat to it since u actually give a rats ass about the characters. I've rewatched this show countless times and it manages to stay fresh due to the sheer amount of episodes such that by the time you're done with it, the first season feels nice and fresh due to its stripped back simple approach, season one is just an insight to a friend group of cops just doing stuff compared to the constant stuff going on near the end, the last season does cut down on the bloat and has some relevant social commentary going on which I respect. Overall this show is a diamond in the rough of the offices, friends' and other adult half comedies of the time, I love this show Supernatural: Oh boy, I used to be head over heels for this show back when i was 13 or so, I rewatched this countless times happily and for good reason too; it is a great show if you're into this kind of thing which I was and still am to some extent, the initial premise of two brothers hunting down monsters based off of mostly real folklore and legends really hooked me in because unlike something like star trek where you HAVE to learn what they're fighting beforehand, because believe me there's no way you know what it is before going in if you have a flair for urban legends and such you should already know what wendigo, crossroads demons or djinn are so it just feels more real yknow? Like ur not a sucker for being into it and such because its loosely based off of lore from the flesh world! like most shows that go on for a smidge too long it loses the simplicity that hooked me in initially of just going around the country killing monsters that cropped up near the later seasons, but thats okay because it has enticing enough world building and characters to warrant that, you cant keep doing the simple stuff forever and i was all for it, although its harder for me to get sucked into it as i age :/ The little nods to the community are also fun, I never really interacted with them as this show was more my personal thing but that is subject to change right now as I find myself going back on my old special interests, why else would I be on a myspace revival! woah this bit is wayyy too long I rambled HARD sooooo lets move on to the stuff from my younginhood I actually saw on tv TV Stuff: Being an australian *i'll explain these shows somewhat* who stuck with tv for way too long, i think im the last generation of australians to grow to some kind of maturity purely with television *i got my true lick of the internet at 11* so my most memorable tv shows that i can remember were: Good Game/Good Game Spawn Point *game reviews for kids without internet access, very neat little show and holds up decently well despite a few young kid gimmicks* regular good game covered more mature games, i only remember like 3 minutes total of this show but i bet it was good Regular show: you all know it, awesome show. enough said The amazing world of gumball: You know this one too, its a pretty good show that like regular show does an ok job at not making your parents regret owning a tv, i would watch it still tbh. Adventure time: Slaps, another regular show situation Id list more but honestly most of the stuff i watched only really appeals to 12 year olds and doesnt suit my tastes anymore so I wont list them, its been a loooooong time since tv was my main entertainment source

Books

I only read autobiographies of old metal/rock frontmen and diary of a wimpy kid when i was younger, I cant get into serious books because (not too sad but still a bit sad) my emo phase is over and i cant really get engrossed into these kinds of stories like i used to, idk

Heroes

I dont have any heroes really, people I'm interested in and respect tho are the members of ac/dc, kiss, motley crue and slipknot. They seem cool
