just read a book called negative space, its horrifying but a great book 

 my favorite book is probably a wild sheep chase by haruki murakami

 i also like tales from the inner city by shaun tan (the art and story are both very beautiful) 

 Alice's adventures in wonderland very cool

the plague by albert camus very interesting 

 most importantly however, would have to be the happy prince by oscar wilde
