General

Undertale is like a father to me. I love you Undertale. You irreversibly altered the course of my life. Mwah. Sometimes it's hard for me to act fandom-y about Undertale because those are all real people to me. They exist. Toby Fox is hiding them in his basement and putting them into Situations for our amusement. Thank you, Toby Fox. But if you show me a well-written Undertale fic or comic I will simply combust and lie on my bedroom floor for weeks. It's just.. god. Those characters are like my family to me! They are so close to my heart, do you UNDERSTAND??? THEY JUST... OOGH. I ADMIRE THEM.

Music

I'm the type of person that can force myself to like anything if I feel guilty enough about not liking it! Sure, some music comes more naturally, but it's all blended together at this point. I like the idea of having an eclectic taste, though I only really listen to avant garde pop and local bands from where I live... What a poser! At least there's always community radio. :P

Movies

If you show me a John Cassavetes film with Peter Falk in it I will simply go rabid like a shark smelling blood. Husbands (1970) my beloved. A Woman Under the Influence (1973) my beloved. (Gena Rowlands was amazing in that movie btw. It's proof that the Oscars are total bunk that she didn't win anything for it.) AND OH MY GOD. WATCH MIKEY AND NICKY (1976) DIR. ELAINE MAY. THEY MAKE ME INSAAANNEEE THEY MAKE ME CRAAAZZZYYYY *Viewers are now subjected to 15 minutes of the author wailing, screaming, and pounding on walls.* Anyway. Go watch Mikey and Nicky. (1976). Dir. Elaine May. While you're at it, just go through Peter Falk's entire filmography. Then you'll understand me.

Television

Columbo. Mr. Bimbo. Lieutenenant Blorbo. BUPPO. The Sly Little Elf. Rated Most Devious Man in the history of television. Assigned Sadist at Moffat. I need to microwave him. I also need him Physically. I love you, Columbo.

Books

I've really enjoyed The Locked Tomb series! I'm currently reading (if you call constantly putting it off after getting only 70 pages into it 'reading') House of Hunger. It's pretty cool so far! Crime and Punishment and The Picture of Dorian Gray completely occupied my brain space for a while... Don't look at me like that... They're sad little men, they're sopping wet, what more do you want me to say? Oh, actually, fun fact: Did you know that the detective in Crime and Punishment Porfiry Petrovitch, inspired the creators of Columbo? Huh? Isn't that cool? And Carmilla (1872). I like girls. I'm a girl kisser. What can I say? And on the subject of vampires, I -- like everyone else -- got really into Dracula Daily in 2022. I kinda fell off of it this year, but I'm still quite fond of it. I still love my silly little polycule...

Heroes

What does this mean. What. Like superheroes? Or like people I look up to? I like to imagine there's just, like, a "what superheroes do you like" section here out of nowhere. That'd be funny. But. Hm. Gosh, I'm gonna have to think about that. Embarrassingly, I think they're mostly fictional..? I guess by proxy, the authors of those characters are my heroes, too.. Oh, right! I almost forgot! Toby Fox. Every day I pray to have that level of genuine, unbothered compassionate swagger. Every day. I think I've gained a habit of overusing elipses because of him...
