General

Academia consumes most of my life, but I love to spend my free time in the garden. I like to plant herbs, flowers, and a hand full of vegetables in the spring and summer. It's a great place to relax, stretch, read, or just lounge around. I don't leave the house much, but every week or so I haunt the used book store or the Jewish deli next door (they have the best fresh bagels in the world). There's a coffee shop downtown where I could spend hours people watching, but it can be an overwhelmingly crowded place.

None of these are absolute or defining in any way, and Im generally open to any genera. Nothing is so sacred that I wouldn't criticize it or enjoy it for what it is.

Movies

Not a huge fan of movies, but Barbie was fantastic.

Television

I don't watch television. I usually watch long form video essays on nebula or YT. Nothing particularly focused. My sub list is mostly left tube stuff with some craft/lifestyle stuff sprinkled in: PhilosophyTube, Lily Alexandre, F.D Signifier, munecat, D'Angelo Wallace, Jarvis Johnson, Robin Waldun, Jessie Gender, Katy Montgomerie, Rajiv Surendra, etc... These wars make men of us. Are you a man?
