--THESE ARE MY PERSONAL OPINIONS-- "Normal People" by Sally Rooney is good in terms of plot and characters, but there are mature topics. I love the romance between Marianne and Connell, and how they end up together despite all the troubles they face and the difficulties in their relationship. "A Boy and His Dog at the End of the World" by C. A. Fletcher starts very slow but gets good near the end. I love the plot and the setting that takes place in the book. The details and descriptions can get deeper and bigger--which in my opinion makes a book more boring--and I understand that the author wanted the readers to comprehend the different yet same world, but I don't enjoy them. However, skipping them would be a huge regret and a hassle to go back to read. I don't encourage skipping pages, but I don't enjoy reading them, either. "We'll Always Have Summer" by Jenny Han teaches a good lesson about growing up and I'd highly recommend it if you need something to read that involves romance. "Every Last Word" by Tamara Ireland Stone is very intriguing book with a huge plot twist at the end. Involves lots of poetry and I'm into it <3. "Out of My Mind" by Sharon M. Draper makes readers stand by Melody's side and take on a view of the minds of disabled people. A good book that made me read more than a hundred pages in one day. |
