I mostly listen to black metal, skramz + emoviolence, crust punk, digital hardcore, harsh noise, industrial, post-punk, and grindcore, but I'm pretty open to anything. I'm definitely drawn to extreme and experimental sounds, but you'll also catch me listening to smooth jazz, lofi, working class country, soul music, or rap depending on the mood. |

I like a mix of horror, thrillers, psychological stuff, shockumentaries, documentaries, sci-fi, fantasy, comedies, found footage films, mockumentaries, and slashers. Especially big into weird 90s Asian cinema! |

My go-to shows are Umamusume, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Degrassi, Smiling Friends, House, Common Side Effects, and Steven Universe. I'm also into a bunch of various animes! At the end of the day I'm (not to sound like a broken record) pretty open to anything as long as it's fun or interesting. |

Books |
My reading taste jumps around a lot. I like exploring political theory, along with philosophy and various religious traditions like Islam, Buddhism, Daoism, Confucianism, and Judaism (I am a syncretist!). From time to time I enjoy horror and surreal literature. Not too big into splatter, but when someone writes something fucked up without any sexual assault, I'll be there! I'm a true crime enjoyer for sure, and I'm also into medieval history, wars, and mental health books. If it teaches me something or helps me grow, I'll give it a read! |

About me:
Hi! I'm Angel Deicide. I am a 24-year-old Palestinian-Italian "American" multi-media artist, developer, content creator, and political activist. I live in so-called Chicago, on occupied Potawatomi, Miami, and Illiniwek land, on occupied Turtle Island ("The United States").
Some things about me: I am in the furry, kemonomimi, and petplay communities. I am also a spiritual therian and syncretic Muslim. Outside of that, I also have ties to goth, metalhead, punk, rave, and noise communities and scenes. I am transsexual and identify as a demigirl + ethergender. I am demiromantic, demisexual, and T4T.
Following up on what I mentioned above, I am a syncretic Muslim, believing in my own personal interpretations from various traditions and trying to find gnosis in Allah's light. My beliefs incorporate elements and teachings from Buddhism, Daoism, Judaism, Islam, Hermeticism, and a few other spiritual and philosophical systems. I am also a spiritual therian and otherkin. My theriotypes are a striped skunk, calico cat, opossum, and moth. My kintypes are angel, faery, vampire, and nymph.
I am very passionate about all types of art, especially music, as well as politics, video games, computers, robotics, web design, ethical hacking, and lockpicking. Another special interest of mine is animals and nature. I would love to one day keep many types of animals, especially insects and mice.
As I've grown and studied political theory and history more, I've come to the conclusion that I am not just a Maoist, but rather a political pluralist (don't laugh if you've read my religious syncretism article). I am not a sectarian or divisive leftist, but rather I support a broad united front of ideologies and movements that I would be happy to live under.
After years of research, I can say that I support: anarchism, mutualism, syndicalism, libertarian socialism, Guevarism, De Leonism, Maoism, Jucheism (first and second generation), green eco-socialism, democratic socialism, Stalinism, Luxemburgism, Titoism, and communalism, all with elements of solarpunk ideology, degrowth, feminism, decolonization, anti-imperialism, climate justice, intersectionality, restorative justice, and mutual aid. I'm also a fan of transhumanism, pan-Africanism, the New Afrikan movement, and enjoy hopepunk content.
I understand that these ideologies are not all compatible, but my stance is more of supporting the strongest and most organized movement that falls within this list of ideologies, and preaching inter-left solidarity, as I would be happy to live under any of them, and think they can all exist in the same world. I also believe, in a perfect world, a broad socialist society could permit autonomous zones for anarchists and other anti-state belief systems. I'm not convinced a state needs to exist, though.
I might be giving humanity too much credit, but I do believe that, with the abolishment of capitalist society, a stateless society is possible. I don't see the need for anti-state and pro-state infighting when we should be united first in the battle for humanity against the capitalist, fascist, imperialist, Zionist, monarchist, and colonial entities.
Rojava and the broader Kurdish resistance movement have proven that a democratic confederation of leftist beliefs is possible. The Spanish Revolution (1936–39) showed how anarchists, POUM Marxists, and communists could coexist in a front against fascism while experimenting with collectivized industry and agriculture. More recently, the Zapatista movement in Chiapas has blended indigenous autonomism with Marxist analysis, creating a model of self-government that resists both neoliberal exploitation and top-down state control. These examples illustrate that heterogeneous alliances can not only survive but also produce tangible alternatives to the status quo.
When it comes to organizing, I am a partial founder of an anarcho-communist inspired political art collective, October's Ascension; the founder of The Federation of Collective Action; as well as a member of (at the time of writing) the Democratic Socialists of America, Communist Party USA, Green Party US, and Freedom Road Socialist Organization. I also have plans to volunteer with Anarchist Black Cross and Food Not Bombs.

I'm looking for friends who are artists, musicians, writers, activists, gamers or have other similar interests as myself! You don't have to be an artist, it just helps me feel more connected to people, and I love collaboration. Queer friends are, of course, always appreciated as well!
