General	I LOVE the humanities. History and English have always been my favorite subjects, and I love learning about the many diversities of human culture!!!!! US History in particular is my favorite subject, and it is what I want to get a career in!! I also love computers and the digital world in general (fellow Linux users wya?). I love religion, beyond just my own Christianity, I have deep respect and admiration for world religions even if I do not personally believe in them. Among the most fascinating to me are Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, Sikhism, the various Pagan groups, and even Satanism ( I don't agree with much of what the Church of Satan is all about, but that doesn't mean it isn't fascinating!!) I also love video games!!! I don't really own any consoles besides Nintendo. I LOOOVE Nintendo and have since I was very little. My favorite Nintendo franchises have always been Zelda, Zelda is my favorite of all time actually, but also Mario, DK, Smash Bros, Splatoon, and Pokemon (Kind of). In terms of non-Nintendo games, I love Minecraft, Wolfenstein, Doom, Elder Scrolls, Witcher, Deus Ex, XCOM, Paradox grand strategy games, sim games like SimCity 4, The Sims 2, and Spore, and Portal!!! I don't really play many online multiplayer games but my favorite one of those is probably TF2!!
Music	Sabaton, SOAD, Flyleaf, and Paramore are my favorite bands!!! I also love Eminem, Five Iron Frenzy, Minibosses, Powerglove, all kinds of metal and electronic Nintendo covers, and I'm a huge fan of traditional American folk songs!! My music taste is diverse, I would say. Always looking for recs! When I will get around to actually listening to them is a different story but I digress xD
Movies	Favorite movie has been and always will be the Simpsons movie!!! I have seen it so many times and I pretty much know the whole thing by heart!!! I also LOOVE Star Wars, Ghostbusters, National Treasure, and the MCU!!! My favorite genre is definitely horror though!!! My favorite horror movies are Scream, Friday the 13th, The Conjuring, The Exorcist, Carrie, Evil Dead, and Saw!!!! DOCUMENTARIES. I love documentaries!! All kinds of them, I love Michael Moore (Even if I disagree with him on some things). I love random documentary channels on YouTube (Props to PBS for making all their Frontline docs available for free on YT).
Television	SpongeBob, that's it. Nah jk I also love Friends, Seinfeld, Bones, House, the Simpsons, Gravity Falls, MLP:FIM, Phineas and Ferb, and Veronica Mars!! I love political thrillers like Designated Survivor and West Wing! My favorite show as mentioned is probably SpongeBob as mentioned before lol. DOCUMENTARIES!!! AGAIN!!! I adore those Presidential biopic miniseries on the history channel!!! Highly recommend.
Books	My favorite book is probably (cop out), the Bible!! But that's kind of cheating, so I will go with Chain Reaction by Darrel Scott. I pretty much ONLY read nonfiction. I love biographies a lot. I love learning about the past and there is something very soothing about putting on some background music and reading a good book!! I also love reading comics!!! I recently got into reading comics and my favorites so far are Captain America, Alias (Jessica Jones), Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), and Black Widow!!!!
Heroes	My biggest hero (again, cop out) is Jesus!! Even ignoring the religious connotations, I think He is an admirable figure. His words have influenced my thinking for decades, and they will influence me for as long as I live (and hopefully for whatever happens in the future!). Beyond that, my biggest heroes mostly come from American history!! I have ALWAYS deeply admired Abe Lincoln and MLK Jr since at least kindergarten. I also love Harriet Tubman, Theda Bara, Mr. Rogers, Frederick Douglass, FDR and Teddy, General Grant, George Washington, and more modern figures like Todd Beamer, David Hogg, Lauren Townsend, and Rachel Scott!! Fictional heroes tend to be figures who don't set out or seek being a hero. They just are heroes because they are good people who do the right thing!!! Like Spiderman, Captain America, and Link from the Legend of Zelda games!!!!

About me:

I am a twenty-something guy (He/Him/His) from central New York!!! I have always loved the 2000s internet and I think we have gone in a VERY dark direction from that, I hope that we can bring it back, and I see a site like this as being a part of that!!! Alright let's see, I love politics, I would place myself somewhere on the left, I am on the 'tism spectrum, I am a dedicated, liberal Christian in the UCC!!! I think the world would be a much better place if we could all just see the common humanity in each other. Our world, and the US in particular, is so divided, and it seems like people who speak up about things are shouted down by either people who violently disagree with them, or by people who don't care and say "It's not that deep". Perhaps you're not that deep, then. But despite that, I think we should all try to see the joy and beauty in the world!!!
