Transspecies's Interests

General

We like art & animation generally.

Also an enjoyer of games like Inscryption, Griftlands, Dicey Dungeons, Terraria, The Sims 4, Wobbledogs & Rimworld.

Music

Oh boy, there's too much range to sum anything up! That, and many alters have their own taste. There are some genres some of us like overall rather than individual songs, though!

The list goes something like this: rock, heavy metal, dubstep, hardcore, speedcore, drum and bass, synthwave, darksynth. Not a genre on it's own rather than a trait some music has, but we are also into vocal synth stuff :3

Movies

The hosts really enjoy both Spiderverse movies and The Lego Batman Movie.

Television

My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Mob Psycho 100, Electric Dreams (the 1984 movie, it's a big comfort for us <:3) Object shows (generally! We haven't seen all of them though, obviously.), Madness Combat, Bloody Bunny.

Always taking recommendations for "hyperviolent cartoons" or animated horror, we like that stuff :P.

Books

Wings of Fire, Warrior Cats, Chainsaw Man, Mob Psycho 100.

Transspecies's Blurbs

About me:

Hi, we are The Hounds!

We are an polyfragmented, introject heavy DID system who is all nonhuman & objectum, and has both mental disabilities/neurodivergencies (ASD, ADHD, C-PTSD, OCD, psychosis, anxiety, depression) and physical disabilities (chronic fatigue & pain). We are also super queer and many of us are apart of furry, daydreamer, selfship & (SFW) pet/age regression communities!

We are an adult (18), incase you ever need to know.

We are an artist, character designer and hopefully eventually, a musician and an animator.

Our main current special interest is object shows! Though a lot of us have smaller, individual spins or fixations.

We will try to sign off stuff as needed, but sometimes our posts/comments may lack clarification of who's speaking! Please assume that unless evidently otherwise, those posts are written to be something coming from the entire collective.

If we grow close friends, you may ask to friend us on Simply Plural :3

Our profile is nothing fancy yet, sorry!

And lastly, please no discourse or fakeclaiming! We are just here to have fun and share thoughts on life. If you have a problem with anything we post or are, you can just leave! The unfriend/block button is your friend on the internet!

Who I'd like to meet:

Other people like us! Systems, disabled people, nonhuman/alterbeing identifying, queer, into object shows.

Thank you for the add!! What's an object show you recommend? I've never watched any and I'd love to try!

Ooh! A good start would be Battle For Dream Island (the original object show! this baby kickstarted the subgenre :3), Battle For Dream Island Again (it's sequel) and BFB (another sequel) + The Power of Two (a show that split off from BFB, currently ongoing while BFB has concluded). They're fairly fluffy and lighthearted shows, but really nice :3. Recommended after watching the previous, or other object shows in general, but if you want a more serious one, there's also ONE (by Cheesy Hfj)! The reason we reccomended you to see other stuff first is that for it's first season, it subverts a lot of common tropes and it's really neat going "ogh!" at that. Tho it is wayyyy more than that. Do beware that it contains multiple depictions of panic attacks and a dereality episode experienced by one of it's main characters. While death usually is not taken as serious in object shows as it is usually not permanent (there's often revival machines present to explain it lore-wise), in this show even the temporary kind of deaths are taken more seriously, another disclaimer! We have not seen the original Paper Puppets, but we are into Paper Puppets Take 2! It has jumpscares in a few of it's earlier episodes, though (both Blue Nightmares parts). And this one we like a lot, but oh boy the disclaimers... Inanimate Insanity. Somewhat a crossbreed of silly and serious (for it's first 2 seasons, atleast... s3 is... really fluffed down.), has a lot of interesting character moments. But the tradeoff... seasons 1-2 have a biiig issue with ableist character portrayals & all seasons with iffy portrayals of objects that come from foreign countries. The show is really good at many parts but it does have it's issues, as much as we love it <:P
