marvin from “the marvin trilogy”, a trilogy of one-act musicals by “william finn”, which consists of “in trousers” (1979), “march of the falsettos” (1981), & “falsettoland” (1990). “march of the falsettos” and “falsettoland” were later combined together in 1991 at hartford stage theatre and was officially on broadway in 1992, and then later was revived in 2016.
