hihi welcome to my page !! u can call me mimi, i'm twenty three. (if ur 16 and under, i'd rather not interact !) i'm a young aspiring linguist, i wear jirai kei, i should be practicing japanese, and i love old video games and weird shit :3 am mentally ill and trying to keep it together !! β‘
if u like personality stuff, i'm infj, aquarius sun/capricorn moon/leo rising.
Who I'd like to meet:
i love video games !! retro (and new !) pc point and clicks are my favorite; grim fandango, monkey island, gabriel knight, king's quest, sam and max, technobabylon, thimbleweed park, sanitarium, etc. i like nintendo too, lots of different games. even if i don't play a lot i keep up with lots of game stuff, big and indie titles :3 i also play genshin and mabinogi !
i wear and really love jirai kei fashion (β‘ΞΌ_ΞΌ) most of my life is pink, black, and white so forgive my fairly strict color scheme on this page. jirai makes me feel feminine but still a bit odd and gothic inspired, and i like collecting pieces alongside sanrio merch ! (mainly kuromi and my melody but i want to get more keroppi stuff). jfashion in general is interesting to me
linguistics is my passion in life, i have a bachelor's degree in the field with a minor in japanese language and culture. i hope to go back for my graduate degree soon because there's so much i want to learn and do. ling is a wellspring of insight into the uniquely human experiences we share with language that i feel is often overlooked. one of my professors said the language is the most ephemeral human creation yet we hold onto and feel all of its heaviness every we use it. it's all we have and it's always fleeting
