General

i like shooting 35mm film, watching and studying movies, exploring new places and things, listening to new music, and lots and lots of alone time. i like my cat and wearing bright colors everywhere i go. i can play the guitar okayishly and i'm trying to learn piano. i am a small time collector of garden gnomes to keep in my bedroom.

Music

my music taste is really everywhere, i'm into every genre except metal (it just never clicked for me). bands and artists i'm currently really into are: frank ocean, elliott smith, oingo boingo, tyler the creator, erykha badu, jeff buckley, blur, sade, talking heads, gorillaz, the smiths, nina simone, & deftones.

Movies

dude... i could fill this whole block up with movies i like. i watch movies so often that this would be changing every day too. but some of my favorite ones i would be amiss to not mention are: juno, the royal tenenbaums, her, bones and all, casablanca, the skeleton twins, cleo from 5 to 7, trainspotting, bill and ted's excellent adventure, & donnie darko.

Television

i don't watch a lot of tv... but all the shows i've been watching recently are 2 broke girls, succession, barry, it's always sunny in philadelphia, & bob's burgers.

Books

i don't read, like ever, but my favorite book i've ever read is the catcher in the rye by j.d salinger. some books i have on my book shelf that need to be read are crime and punishment by fyodor dostoevsky, the old man and the sea by ernest hemingway, mother night by kurt vonnegut, and the stranger by albert camus.
