JESUS CHRIST: the King of Kings, the Good Shepherd, the Word, the Bread, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. He is my Lord & Saviour, He took on my deserved penalty for sinning which was DEATH. He lived a truly SINLESS, RIGHTEOUS, PERFECT life and in turn was tortured, defiled, mutilated, humiliated & all for my sake. For your sake. And for the sake of the whole world. It is said that all you need is to believe in your heart that Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and to confess with your mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord & you will be saved (Romans 10:9), For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast (Ephesians 2:8-9), For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him (John 3:16-17). Once we accept Jesus Christ as our Lord & Saviour, we recieve something called the Holy Spirit whom dwells within us; when we obtain the Holy Spirit we receive something called the Fruits of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23). And when we do wrong, He convicts our heart & calls us to recognise our wrongdoings & to repent (John 16:8). Repentance is an apology, in this case to God, Jesus. Our God is a gracious, patient & faithful God & when we truly come to a place of repentance we can rest assured in His forgiveness. but sometimes we can feed into the enemy's lies (i tend to) e.g 'you should feel ashamed to talk to God. why do u think He'd even want to hear from someone like u? ur disgusting & He hates disgusting things like you!!'. but always rmb dat the enemy always comes to KILL, STEAL & DESTROY.
