Dees' Shaka's Interests

General

Many, varied. for a few: Performance, working with people, improvisation, kinetic arts, goofery, workery, scribblings, rants, practices, & how to effectively communicate information from brains into multimedia 'o'

Music

Try AlicebanD's album by the same name 2015, and perhaps on the side play something by Nick Lutsko, some 80s, 90s, 0s, 10s, & 20s music ranging through the genera's but I like to gel with my music, so, like, songs that popped off for me 3 years ago aren't what I listen two weekly, all nice and laden with memory & stuff.

Movies

Plenty

Television

Lots I'm sure, look, I didn't choose this category. It's just on a list, and I'm trying to maybe talk to people regularly on the internet. I Mean How Could We All Have The Time to list all the good TV? TV good, okay? But at this point, I'd have to say I prefer internet personalities and independents if I'm to watch TV like things. Some More NEwwss, if I can manage it, Redletter Media, or 4 dozen people in the shadow of Contrapoints, I like keeping up with techy news, cause, I think going back to nature would be allot more easy with bio/psycho/social investments, I like adaptability & change in ecology, technology, relationships, business, and administration, so of course I like some television based storytelling or whatever.

Books

Many a book, of course, and many things to say about them. Aside from the hundreds of comics of my 'wee years, highlights being the Three Billy Goat's Gruff, Cinnamin Bear, Gruu, and of course the works of Suess, then years past, and all I liked was Abarat, and then I must admit it was the legendarily weird, incredibly body-shamed, quite haunted, and supremely racist Howard P. Longface (although I only noticed that later, (oh my god THAT was his description of an Irishman???)) who drew me back in to long hours of reading and audio dramas with At the Mountains of Madness, The Outsider, The Fungi From Yuggoth. Then the Wheel of Time sealed the deal, but many others in due time, and there's many more that I didn't read but would love. In modern age, I quite like: the Hyperion series, by Dan Simmons, various works of Alistar Reynalds, Love The Scar and Perdido St. Station by China Mieville, The Stormlight Archive by Brandan Sanderson. Allot of big scale worldbuildey fantasy worlds about them, ye, but, I'd count Disco Elysium the most novel ''game'' novel I've read in... Well, since the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Heroes

My list of heroes is a bit tragic, actually. When did I agree to this question? Hephaestus, Humanist Comedians,, Macaulay Culkin as Micheal Alig for the first 2/3ds of Party Monster. I don't know what to tell you until you make some conversation already I feel like you haven't said a thing for like 2 hours now and it's really starting to get rude.

Dees' Shaka's Blurbs

About me:

Curious about all the things, seeks to make more comfortable all the things. Extremely open minded and all the thoughtfulness & turmoil that comes with. Had a strange mixture of bonding experiences as a kid. To date, new people are kind of all unofficial family candidates, which, again, like the open-mindedness can get distracting. Alright, in short terms: AA havin' 30,000s income bracket professional good son, & workin' nephew type person.

Who I'd like to meet:

A weirdo with similar prerogatives & recognizable cognition patterns who also wants to take over/make better/save the world at least a little bit still.
