General

ooh, i already touched on this briefly in the 'about' section but i'll try and delve deeper into it. i'm into all sorts of obscure things, like i said i LOVE animation and cartoons (pinky and the brain has been a major fixation for me these past couple years, lol i'm a sucker for silly little science rodents) and i'm into anything alt or just downright obscure. my personal belief is in the practice of decolonization (within oneself, community, environment, government etc) and i'm super into the exploration and analysis of consciousness, origin of being and what it means to 'exist'. lmao, that's the existential shit outta the way. also big on north american indigenous history and topics surrounding human psychology with an emphasis on neurodiversity.

Music

hooooo boy, my music taste is... certainly diverse. some of my favourite genres/flavours of music are psychadelic rock (late 60s ish?), folk punk, indie rock, classic rock, 90's grunge... some artists i'm big on are the beatles (i know, sigh, but it fucking SLAPS), bob dylan, weezer, the cranberries, marina (formerly "and the diamonds"), queen, tally hall, penelope scott, cavetown, frankie cosmos, aimee mann, lemon demon, sublime, buffy sainte-marie, lana del rey, ABBA, and many, many more... also a former wannabe theatre kid so i've listened to pretty much every musical that was mainstream in the late 2010's multiple times rofl

Movies

i don't watch many movies!! i only ever watch the mainstream shit that my family/friends drag me into. again, major animation fan, so... ghibli is defo a fav? other than that, nothing really.

Television

anything 90's-00's, of course traditional television is essentially obsolete where i am but some works of television i love are trailer park boys, animaniacs, pinky and the brain, avatar: the last airbender, bojack horseman, hilda, and a bunch of other obscure shit. these are my main tv interests ;]

Books

ooh, i don't read much for recreation really but i'm super into indigenous scholarly literature... a fav of mine is "rekindling the sacred fire: metis ancestry and anishinaabe spirituality" by chantal fiola :] i don't really read fiction lol
