I am shamefully unaware of what's out or what's popular or even what's good now. Listening to new music really is like pulling teeth for me. For some reason it's not a really pleasant experience. It becomes a trust thing. I go with what I know (and trust).

I really have to be intrigued to even bother anymore.

Movies

.... I didn't expect to spend Sunday afternoon hysterically sobbing over CLERKS III. Maybe if I'd ever caught the second one I would've had some warning .....

*The Big Short*. Again. It never fails to amuse and it makes me almost understand.

*Crimson Peak* Holy Halloween cats. Now that's a good old fashioned gothic ghost/murder/love story. England. Ghastly manors. Bad weather. Great accents. Haunted pianos, etc.

Television

Only murders in The Building. Not great TV but we've gotten in the habit now. A little too self-conscious, I think, too aware of itself, but it has its really cute moments. Season 2 of The Ring series (whatever it's called).
