Surge's Interests

General

Besides working at a machine shop, I enjoy the following things to kill time, drawing, listening to music, gaming, and tinkering with computers and old game consoles. Just stay away from macs and Xbox 360s, those are a pain to reassemble. Also I enjoy drinking socially on friday nights. It's fun when you are with the right crowd :)

Music

I enjoy listening to music such as vaporwave and music that came from artists in Japan. I do listen to a lot of final fantasy soundtracks to be honest. Artists that I can think of on the top of my head right now are, Masayoshi Takanaka, and the late Nujabes. Great artists. Even in the U.S. I've listened to other people. Thundercat, Flamingosis, the Gorillaz, etc.

Movies

I am a huge fan of horror movies, I enjoy the Saw series but only up to the 3rd film. I've seen the rest and recently Saw X in theaters. Saw X was decent and I appreciate the effort they put into it. Jigsaw and spiral were good films too. But the main first three will be my favorites in the franchise. I've watched other films such as the Ring, the Grudge, Silent Hill, Vacancy, Hostel, Human centipede 1 (Never seeing that again). I've seen films in other genres such as Jhon Wick, the social network (masterpiece). Harry Potter, Super Bad, Pineapple Express, and neighbors. I've seen a lot more films but I can't recall any others right now.

Television

As far as television goes, I don't watch a whole lot but I do enjoy viewing Modern Family, Malcom in the Middle (classic), and adventure, so much meme material for that cartoon. I finished watching Sopranos. Great show, only problem is it's a bit hard to get into at first but then it grows on you. I watch some anime. One piece, Hunter X Hunter OVA 1999 and the 2011 version, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun (didn't see stampede), Yu Yo Hakusho, Yu-gi-oh (original) (GX and 5Ds). As well as Space Dandy. OOO and Death Note! Alright that's enough for now haha

Books

As far as books go I read anything that is old, mainly historical, like old travel logs and what not. I do read some other non-fiction books, I've recently read Persepolis 1 and 2. Good overview of what the author went through during the Iran revolution in the 80's and what transpired after in her young adult years. Another decent read is The Hole in My life by Jack Gantos. That story is a great read too, an example of what you shouldn't do when in need of some big money haha I do have a collection of Manga, Demon slayer is a good read, one piece (duh), death note, Hunter X Hunter, Zatch Bell and Tokyo Ghoul.

Heroes

I guess a hero of mine would be my father and mother as well as my late Grandpa John and late grandmother. My parents do the best they can to provide for me, which I am thankful for. My late grandpa enjoyed his horror films, as well as collecting books. I definitely do the same. My grandmother Nonna, she loved to cook as well as attend church. I unfortunately don't pray as much as I should or go to church enough, but seeing her dedication showed inspires me to remember about my Religion.

About me:

Hi everyone, hope you all are well. I just started working, and I think it is tiring but I'm happy to be making money again. I just finished college, not sure when I will find a job where I can use my degree in business, but I know the time will come. I've been meaning to make this account for some time, but I just never got around to it. It's funny, just like other people I've always wanted to improve myself. Seems like things get in the way of that progress. Anyways, I've recently been interested in listening to stories of what people experienced with psychedelics. It's interesting, I've heard many stories, and it seems like these people deal with similar entities or visions. Kind of weird. Either way, I think it's cool all the way around.

Who I'd like to meet:

I am a male in my early 20's. I would like to meet new people that inspire me to learn more and grow, mainly individuals that can be a positive influence on my life. One of the many things iId like to learn is how to program or at least understand computers better. I have basic knowledge but my drive to learn has slowed down. Maybe talking about it with other passionate people will help spark that interest in me again. Also I would like to speak to individuals that have used psychedelics and ask about their experiences and how they felt throughout the journey. IF they are okay with it of course. :)
