I’m Ryan. I’m 18, bored, and emotionally attached to music. I like books, video games, and pink things. I mostly made this account because life is short and I needed another place to overshare. I’ll probably just post song recs and random thoughts. Other important facts about me: I’m from the South, but in a haunted, Southern Gothic way, not a country music way. I love the ocean and would 100% run away to a coastal town if given the chance. I’m a foodie but in a “I emotionally attach to specific meals” way (chicken and cheese taquitos). I romanticize everything: rainy days, night drives, aquariums, gas stations at 2am. I’m either very quiet and observant or won’t shut up. No in-between. I lowkey think I’m always right (I usually am).

Music

My music taste evolved from “Tumblr 2014” to “sad girl in an A24 movie”: Ethel Cain Imogen Heap Radiohead plus a rotating cast of depressing indie women and British men How I listen to music: I make playlists like they’re autobiographies. I prefer sad, atmospheric, slightly unhinged music. I’m a lyrics person first, vibes second. If the lyrics hurt, it’s a 10/10.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower (yes I know it’s a book first, I’m still counting it) Scream (only the old one, obviously) The Conjuring 2 Saw Mama Fear Street (all of them, no skips) All the Bright Places Birds of Prey Carrie Coraline Gone Girl I love: coming-of-age films psychological thrillers horror that’s more unsettling than jumpscare-y anything that makes me sit in silence after the credits

Television

Bob’s Burgers Good Trouble Rick and Morty Shameless Raising Hope Sweet Tooth The Fosters Criminal Minds I oscillate between “comfort sitcom” and “FBI trauma binge.” What I actually do: Rewatch comfort shows until I could recite entire episodes. Start dark, intense shows and then binge them in 3 days like it’s a personality flaw. I love found family dynamics more than real families (no comment).
