A lot of pop, ranging from '60s (Beach Boys, Harry Nilsson, the Monkees, more obscure things like the sunshine pop works of Curt Boettcher) to today (the Scary Jokes are my favorite, but also things like Jon Brion, the Flaming Lips, and the High Llamas). Some of my favorite "scenes" include the él records scene and the Elephant 6 scene. Also love Needlejuice Records stuff
