Nope you can play on desktop if you don't have VR! Warning: highly addictive. I played on desktop for a few days and then gave in and bought a headset. Its super fun.

Oh cool, well that's good to know! Lol, knowing how I am, I'd probably give in too and invest in a VR Headset. Working full time and being a single Dad has kept me from partaking in a lot of fun shit I used to do. And whenever I have free time, I'm catching up on life outside of those 2 things. Lol. Haha, your hand will move through them, it won't jolt them. But I believe there's VR add ons now that you can attach to headsets that make you feel interaction like being headshot or someone touching your face, and is tracked on different sensors so you know where its coming from. Lots of neat stuff out there. :>

I have the best headset around currently and full body tracking, but none of the extra gadgets like the headshot thingy. I'd definitely have more stuff though if I wasn't broke lmao :')

So I upgraded from an oculus to Valve Index. The headset, controllers and tracking stations all together was £900 ish I think? And then I bought the new 3.0 Vive trackers which were £130 each ish- I bought 3 to get full body tracking. I considered getting the 2.0s second-hand but I got impatient :>

Oh damn, I looked all of that stuff up in US currency and mannnn, you definitely spent a good chunk of change for that! Looked at the specs though and you definitely got your money's worth though which is good! You're definitely using some prime stuff there ^__^ I'll have to set aside some money for this and will have to be committed to it when I find the time to that's for sure!

I'd say get a secondhand headset first! Doesn't have to be a big fancy one, but one that you can try out VR and get used to using your virtual hands in. If it's something you find you really enjoy then consider upgrading to a better headset, and full body if that's something you're interested in. VR is one of THE best things I ever invested in but I know some people get motion sick with it. :>

Haha it’s definitely something I’d have to get used to and adjusted to. When I would try my friends VR headsets, I definitely got a little motion sickness. It’s a whole different vibe man. I was playing Resident Evil one time and holy shit, that was terrifying But yeah, you’re right though, I definitely should get a secondhand headset first if it’s available and something I’d invest in. I always just wanna go full-send on something so I don’t have to worry about upgrading anytime soon Not the smartest way to go about things. Haha
