About me:

ᛉ 8808ᛉ BDOD is currently a two piece artist collective/label (in a sense), that creates music projects,websites,visual graphics etc all in an endeavor to create an immersive experience that will suck you into an alternate dimension of colorful gothic darkness. We formed originally as a 4 piece in June of 2021 consisting of a drummer,bassist,and two guitarists. During this period we were called Zunkhryzt and we made DoomMetal type music. (Example Of Said Music: https://dabombarchive.bandcamp.com/album/doom-days ) We rarely practiced and the collective/band was somewhat of just a concept rather than properly fleshed out, around august of that year I (Phemon, Essentially CEO of BDOD) met a girl named crucifilth at a wastelands show and we chilled a bit that same month and she agreed to join the band (Despite the questionable nature of the existence of the band). As 2022 rolled around the band basically fell apart except for phemon and crucifilth (a common theme), until we met a new drummer at a houseshow and that drummer had a friend who then joined on keyboard. Another change that came with 2022 was a shift from doom to unforgiving evil black metal!!! We then wrote and practiced a setlist which we first preformed live at the rainbow bridge in sept 2022 (followed by a show oct 2022). BDOD also briefly around Nov 2022 became a 5 piece with a new bassist. At some point in 2022 there was an attempt to record an EP that became botched because spudboy the engineer who recorded it accidentally toasted his laptop which contained the files. (Show Footage Compilation: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/9g1OqGrypgA ) The focus Jan 2023-June 2023 was primarly three tapes |Herzen - ZK|Owl - Zeth|Witch - Frieden| When the three tapes dropped in june 2023 our band reverted back to a 2 piece. We did one more show as a 2 piece spring 2025, we also gained a drummer from roughly spring 2025-oct 2025 who never played on any recordings. (P.S. IF YOU SEE CERTAIN ALBUMS OF OURS BEING DATED TO THE 1960s THATS BECAUSE WE ARE USING A CALANDER BASED AROUND BOUDICA :D!) ᛉ 8808ᛉ
