My mom was born in 1960 and I was brought up on her music. though 80/90s rock also holds a special place in my heart. I have a super eclectic taste in music from AC/DC to Rachel Platton. Bob Marley to Eminem. Nirvana to Papa Roach. The Beatles to Metallica. It really just depends on my mood.

Movies

Lets see... Horror is my favorite genre but lately, I have been all about crazy rich Asians. Again it really depends on my mood. I also love Harry Potter, LOTR trilogy, The Hobbit trilogy, and Scot Pilgram vs the world.

Television

The Walking Dead, Greys Anatomy, The Closer, Roseanne, Friends, Any kind of murder documentary.

Books

It's easier to list authors, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Rick Riordan, Susan Collins, Branden Sanderson, Tolkien, and Kevin Kwan. Now I do love the Harry Potter books. I do not however support J.K. Rowling any longer. Her transphobic rhetoric and complete lack of compassion in regard to Johny Depp have forced me to no longer spent my money on her franchise. Harry will always hold a special place in my heart.

Heroes

My daughter. I know it sounds cheesy but she is a type 1 diabetic and watching her handle this disease over the last 4 years has made me so round of her courage and grace. She is going to blow the world away. My Brother. He is my best friend, my cheerleader, and my hero. I don't know what I would do without him. My husband. He has taken on so much to keep our family going. He supports and loves me no matter what. I fell in love with him at 15 and never let go.
