Music

Music: I like quite a mix of artists here...Singer songwriters strike a chord with me. Joan Armatrading, Jackie Greene, Ray LaMontagne. Rock bands like Oasis and The Verve. Miguel to Mumford. Absolutely anything that takes me back to the 80s.

Movies

Movies: The Godfather... admit it--not much else comes close! :) Aside from that, my taste in movies is wide--very wide. I cherish Dumb and Dumber and have seen it 20+ times. I also loved The Artist, Drive and Blue Valentine. Show me any Alfred Hitchcock movie, and I will not change the channel until credits roll. Anything with Cary Grant-- you had me at steel grey hair that matches his suit!

Television

Television: Best show ever? Probably Breaking Bad. Let's discuss. Other recent loves include Broadchurch, The Missing, Happy Valley, and The Fall. I guess I have a thing for British crime dramas! Recently binged on Catastrophe on Amazon streaming. So funny. Go on... watch it now... You won't regret it.

Books

Books: East of Eden, The Plague, anything by Richard Russo. Most moving book I've read in a while was "Wild", by Cheryl Strayed. I thought the movie did not measure up! Least year I finally read The Secret History, which is now my favorite of all time. These days I'm reading River of Doubt, about Teddy Roosevelt's ill-fated exploration of an unmapped river in S. America.

Heroes
