I’ve always liked 8 bit music since I was a kid. The original Metroid music might be some of my favorite. I also really liked the Scott Pilgrim video game with Anamanaguchi doing the soundtrack! I make a lot of stuff that is chiptune-esque but I just use vsts. I had friends in England back in the day that used to actually circuit bend old game boys and stuff, it was really cool!

Donkey Kong’s Aquatic Ambiance has to be one of my fav chip tracks of all time. I love Anamanaguchi! They put on an amazing show!! I mostly use VSTs too, but lately I’m just digging into my Arcade pocket operator for that ^_^

Oh yeah aquatic ambiance is definitely a good one! One of my favorite vsts to use lately is super spooky keys, it’s a theremin vst but it has a bit of chiptune sound, I love it!
